FINLANDFINLAND•Is the seventy country after Russia in terms of extension

•Its borders are to the wets Sweden, Norway and Russia to the norht to the east.

• 69% of the surface is covered by forest.

• He is known as the Lnad of a Thousan Lakes is 10% of its surface water and an 8% crop fiels.

• The capital is Helisinki.

• Its popullation is 5 million, with a density of 17 inhabitans per square kilometer.

• The vast majority of Finns are lutherans, and a small porcentage are orthodox.

• The monetary unit of Finlan is the euro.

• Helisinky, is one the most concentrations of the country.

• Helsinki is also a good point for a cruise in the Baltic to Saint Petersburg to the east, and west to Stockholm.

FORTRESS• Suomenlinna, is a fortress constructed on six islands in Helsinki.

• His original name was a Sveaborg (Swedish castle)

• Suomenlinna's island – fortress was the lens of the Anglo-French bombardments during the war of Crimea.
