Card games which help children to

memorize the multiplication table

in Poland, Warzaw

..And this is how we played the

games back in Finland:

Mathematical Olympics for 3rd

grade students in January 2015

First station: Combine the right

answer with the matching

multiplication problem as fast as

you can!

Second station: A memory game

with the multiplication cards: Pair up

the right answers and problems.

Whoever gets the greatest amount

of pairs is the winner!

Third station: ”The Box” : Pair up the

right answer with the right problem

using a slotted box. Try to be as fast

as you can!

Fourth station: The division table.

The dealer hands out cards and says

a number. If the number shown on

the the card can be divided with the

number said by the dealer, you get

a point if your the first one to touch

the card!
