Patron Feedback• I enjoyed the monkey story, activities,

making candy sushi, dressing up like an Indian princess, creating rangolis, lamps and lanterns. (Patron under 10 years old)

• I liked the Indian sweets and draping the saree. Oh, What a soft handwoven fabric; it felt so warm like I was in a moss bag. (Adult)

Staff Feedback

• A successful program. I learned about culture that when the demon Ravana is evil then his 10 heads pop out. The tradition to play cards ….If one does not play card games on Diwali then the once could be reborn as a donkey. We need more volunteers and it is a good idea to have a ‘live’ demonstration.
