- FEMALE BATHROOM ETIQUETTE Narrated Power Point Lecture Rev.
John Wiley Fox, Instructor #2 IN THIS SERIES PLEASE REVIEW #1
BEFORE REVIEWING THIS ONE.
- Slide 3
- There is one question that Every male has asked: WHY?
- Slide 4
- Why do girls ALWAYS go to the bathroom in pairs? Or in
Groups?
- Slide 5
- Something that you will NEVER hear one guy say to another: I
need to go to the bathroom, do you want to go with me?
- Slide 6
- Bathroom Patrol became a habit But, we know there are some
really good reasons for women to use public restrooms in at least
pairs, if not groups. And, some are really good.
- Slide 7
- Women Learned how to gather together to go to the bathroom they
dont really remember how, why or when - but deep down we all know
it all started with: Potty Patrol! How many other things have we
accepted as natural in our lives which are not natural actions but
LEARNED actions? Is How we Communicate one of those? Think About
It.
- Slide 8
- Neither way is right! Neither way is wrong! Each is just the
way that group learned to go to the bathroom. Be careful when you
criticize others when they do things differently than you do them.
Be Very Careful of Judging them. Be ESPECIALLY Careful when it
comes to Communication Styles and Rituals. Different cultures have
different ways just because they are different doesnt mean they are
wrong, just different. Just because we do things our way, doesnt
mean our way is right. Is there Really always just ONE way to do
things?
- Slide 9
- So, ladies, still laughing at the guys? Probably, but only
because you are used to your way of acting and the way men act
seems strange, even though Mama started it all. BUT, please
remember the purpose here is NOT to explain male or female bathroom
etiquette. My purpose is to lead you into considering that there
are many aspects of our lives that are not really natural to us,
but are actually learned behaviors. My concern is that we then use
this idea and apply it to different LEARNED communication styles
and how the affect communication between different groups, include
men and women. jwf
