Fathers Forgiveness, Mercy and Grace

My beloved child can you truly believe that I would cause you harm, can it be that you would even think that I am unwilling to forgive you?

Is it not written that ‘I am good and that I am ready to forgive and plenteous in mercy unto all them those that call upon me? (Psalm; 86:5)

Have you not heard my promise, ‘If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land’ (2Chronicles 7:14)

Of course ‘I know your foolishness; your sins are not hidden from me’ (Psalm 69:5) so ‘set your iniquities before me, your secret sins in the light of my countenance’ (Psalm 90:8)

Have I not promised that, ‘he that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy’ (Proverbs 28:13)

Have I ‘dealt with you after your sins? Have I rewarded you according to your iniquities’ (Psalm 103:10) no my beloved; for ‘I have forgiven the iniquity of my people, I have covered all their sin’ (Psalm 85:2)

Therefore ‘Come now, and let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool’ (Isaiah 1:18)

I am ‘Jehovah, (the eternal and faithful God) who keeps covenant and mercy with them that love me and keep my commandments, to a thousand generations’ (Deuteronomy 7:9)

When you are weak; when your bones are troubled I am he that will have mercy on you, and will heal you. (Psalm 6:2) for ‘my mercy (my compassion) endures forever’ (1Chronicles 16:34)

‘Can it be that you fear sin more than you fear me the Lord of grace and mercy? Have you not heard that ‘you have redemption through my blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of my grace; (Ephesians 1:7)

‘I love righteousness and judgment; the earth is full of my mercy’ (and compassion) (Psalm 33:5)

‘My mercy, (favour, compassion and kindness) is in the heavens; my faithfulness reaches to the clouds’ (Psalm 36:5)

‘There is no God like me, in Heaven above or on earth beneath, for I am he who keeps covenant and mercy with my servants who walk before me with all their heart, (1Kings 8:23)

‘By my grace are you saved (healed, preserved, protected and made whole) through faith, not of works lest you should boast, (Ephesians 2:8)

Salvation is my gift to you, for even when you were dead in sins, you were quickened together with Christ. (Ephesians 2:5)

Be confident then my beloved child, be sure and ‘know that I have raised you up together and have made you to sit together in heavenly places in me’ (Ephesians 2:6)

Be assured that even ‘When your foot slips; my mercy will hold you up’ (Psalm 94:18)

‘As the heavens are high above the earth, so is my mercy (my compassion) toward those who fear me’ (Psalm 103:11)

I am the ‘God of Forgiveness’ (pardon, deliverance and liberty) (Nehemiah 9:17) Men might be slow to forgive, but it is my nature to forgive, it is my desire to grant you forgiveness.

Have I not declared that I am ‘the Gracious God’ (Jonah 4:2) my very nature is gracious, giving and generous, even when you don't deserve it ‘there is forgiveness with me that I may be feared’ (Psalm 130:4)

‘I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions (your rebellion) for my own sake, and will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25)

I am the Lord ‘and I choose not to remember the sins of your youth, nor your transgressions: according to my mercy (my compassion) I remember you for my goodness' sake’ (Psalm 25:7)

‘I have blotted out as a thick cloud your transgressions, and as a cloud your sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed you’ (Isaiah 44:22)

Blessed is he whose transgression, (whose rebellion) is forgiven, whose sin is covered’ (Psalm 32:1)

My Child, be comforted and encouraged for ‘as far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your transgressions from you’ (Psalm 103:12)

‘I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim my name ‘Jehovah’ before you. And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will have mercy on whom I will have mercy’ (Exodus 33:19)

However I say to you ‘Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven’ (Luke 6:37)

Always remember that ‘your sins withhold good things from you’ (Jeremiah 5:25)

You ask me ‘Lord, how often shall people sin against me, and I forgive them? Should it be seven times? (Matthew 18:21) no; for ‘if he should sin against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to you, saying, I repent; you should forgive him’ (Luke 17:4)

‘When ye stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any person: so that I may forgive you your trespasses’ (faults and offences) (Mark 11:25)

Ask yourself ‘Shall I your heavenly Father forgive you, if you from your heart do

not forgive every one who trespasses against you? (Matthew 18:35) no; for I cannot; considering that I prayed for you saying; ‘Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do’ (Luke 23:34) how then can you not forgive those who

offend you?

If you sin against another ‘turn again, and I will have compassion upon you indeed I will subdue (yes conquer) your iniquities; (your immorality) and will ‘cast all your sins into the depths of the sea’ (Micah 7:19)

Turn again and I will ‘Look upon your affliction and your pain; and forgive you all your sins’ (Psalm 25:18)

These promises are for you little children, because ‘your sins are forgiven you for my own name's sake’ (1John 2:12) for ‘you who were sometimes far off are made near by my blood’ (Ephesians 2:13)

‘If you confess your sins, I am faithful and just to forgive you your sins, and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness’ (1 John 1:9)

‘I gave myself for your sins, that I might deliver you from this present evil world’ (Galatians 1:4)

Have you not read that ‘you have redemption through my blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of ‘my’ grace; (Ephesians 1:7)

‘In love to your soul, I delivered it from the pit of corruption: for I have cast all your sins behind my back’ ‘for the grave cannot praise me, death cannot celebrate me and they that go down into the pit cannot hope for my truth’ (Isaiah 38:17-18)

It was I who ‘bare your sins in my own body on the cross that you, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness’ indeed ‘by my stripes you were healed’ (cured and made whole) (1Peter 2:24) that’s why it is as easy for me to say to the sick, ‘your sins be forgiven you; as to say, Arise, and take up your bed, and walk’ (Mark 2:9)

My beloved child ‘when you walk in the light, as I am in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and my redeeming blood cleanses you from all sin’ (1John 1:7)

‘Herein is love, not that you loved me, but that I loved you, and sent my Son to be the atoning victim for your sins.’ (1John 4:10) and not for yours only, but also ‘for the sins of the whole world’ (1John 2:2)

If you sin, simply ‘repent’ (Acts 2:38) for ‘I will be merciful to your unrighteousness, and your sins and your iniquities will I remember no more’ (Hebrews 8:12)

‘Blessed are they whose iniquities (wicked deeds) are forgiven, and whose sins are covered’ (Romans 4:7) indeed ‘I will abundantly pardon’ (Isaiah 55:7) all who come unto me in repentance turning away from their sin.

Know in your heart I am, the ‘faithful witness, and the first born of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth, I am he who has loved you and washed you from your sins in my own blood’ (Revelation 1:5)

It is I who ‘according to my loving-kindness; according to the multitude of my tender mercies, blot out your transgressions’ (Psalm 51:1)

I the Lord ‘am your sun and shield; I give grace (favour) and glory; no good thing will I withhold from those who walk uprightly’ (Psalm 84:1)

‘Truly ‘the good get grace (kindness, favour) from me, but I will condemn a man of wicked thoughts’ (Proverbs 12:2)

I am he that is ‘able to make all grace (and favour) abound toward you, that in everything, always having all self-sufficiency, you may abound to every good work’ (2Corinthians 9:8) for ‘my grace is sufficient for you’ (2 Corinthians 12:9)

‘Therefore, as my elect, holy and beloved, put on tender feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering, forbearing one another, forgiving one another even as I forgave you’ (Colossians 3:12-13)

Remember always that it is in me that ‘you have redemption through my

blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of my grace, (Ephesians 1:7)

‘For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is my gift’ (Ephesians 2:8) to you,

Oh my own dear child, have you not heard that in me ‘you are a new creation, and that by trusting in me old things have passed away and behold all things are made new’ (2 Corinthians 5:17

Have you not read that it is I who ‘makes all things new and have reconciled you to myself’ (2 Corinthians 5:18)

Surely ‘through me you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby you cry, Abba, Father; Daddy’ (Romans 8:15)

Come close and listen carefully now; ‘The wages of sin is death but my gift to you is eternal life’ (Romans 6:23)

‘Sin therefore has no longer dominion over you, you are not under the law but under grace’ (Romans 6:14) and ‘your sins and iniquities I will remember no more’ (Hebrews 10:17)

‘I am he who shows mercy to thousands of those that love me and keep my commandments’ (Exodus 20:6)

Listen closely now; ‘even if the mountains should depart, and the hills be removed; my kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall the covenant of my peace (health, happiness, prosperity, wholeness) be removed, says Jehovah who has mercy (and compassion) on you’ (Isaiah 54:10)

It was ‘not by works of righteousness which you did, but according to my mercy, (my compassion, my kindness and favour) I saved you, through the washing of regeneration (of rebirth) and renewal of the Holy Spirit’ (Titus 3:5)

‘Therefore ‘come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need’ (Hebrews 4:16)

Have you not heard that ‘the Law entered so that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound’ (Romans 5:20)

‘As sin has reigned to death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal (everlasting, never ending) life by me’ (Romans 5:21)

‘Sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace’ (Romans 6:14)

I tell you of a truth ‘there is now no condemnation to anyone who is in Christ who walks after the spirit and not after the flesh’ (Romans 8:1)

‘Who can forgive sins, but I alone’ (Luke 5:2) do you not know that ‘I was manifested to take away your sins; and in me is no sin’ (1John 3:5)

I am he, the Lord God Almighty, he that has declared ‘I will be a Father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters’ (2 Corinthians 6:18)

Listen my child, my redeemed yet fearful one; ‘Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you’ (Isaiah 49:15)

I am the Lord your God; I ‘did not spare my Son but delivered him up for you;

shall I not therefore with him freely give you all things’ (Romans 8:32)

Will I not forgive those whom ‘I came to seek and to save’ (Luke 19:10)

Would I have you distressed seeing ‘the chastisement of your peace (your health, your prosperity, your wholeness) was upon me’ (Isaiah 53:5)

Will I not grieve when you grieve, will I not sorrow when you are sorrowful seeing I ‘carried your grief’s and sorrows myself’ (Isaiah 53:4)

Will I not heal you when ‘by my stripes you are healed? (Cured and thoroughly made whole) (Isaiah 53:5)

Is it not written that I have already ‘taken your infirmities and carried your sicknesses? (Matthew 8:17)

‘My mercies they are new every morning’ (Lamentations 3:23) ‘I am for you’ and not against you (Romans 8:31)

‘Who shall lay anything to your charge for it is I that justifies’ (declares you innocent) (Romans 8:33)

‘What shall separate you from my love? Shall tribulation, distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? No, no; my own, my beloved, be fully persuaded that ‘nothing shall be able to separate you from my love’ (Romans 8:38-39)

Be assured, for I have given you my word that ‘if you confess with your mouth that I am Lord and shall believe in your heart that I was raised from the dead you shall be saved, (you will be rescued, healed, delivered, made whole and forgiven) for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation’ (Romans 10:9-10)

It is ‘the Word of my grace, (favour and kindness) which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified’ (Acts 20:32)

You are ‘being justified freely by my grace (favour) through the redemption that is in me (Romans 3:24)

My work is a complete work, a work of victory, a finished work so trust in me for ‘I am the Lord I change not’ (Malachi 3:6) ‘my words are faithful and true’ (Revelation 21:5)

As your Father, ‘I have loved you and have given you everlasting consolation (comfort) and good hope through grace’ (2 Thessalonians 2:16)

Let my word dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing, (gently reproving) one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to me you’re Lord. (Colossians 3:16)

My dearest child, don’t you know that my brokenness means that you can be made whole; my sorrow means that you can have fullness of joy; my rejection means that you can be accepted; my pain means that you can be healed; my death means that you can have life everlasting.

Whatever pain or distress you are going through ‘be still and know that I am God’ (Psalm 46:10) be still for a moment and remember the cross for it is at the cross you will discover your true value. It is there that you will discover the price I was willing to pay for you, the depth of my love, and how much you are worth to me.

It was at the cross that ‘Mercy (loving kindness) and truth met together; that ‘righteousness and peace kissed each other’ (Psalm 85:10)

I am so close to you at all times that I feel everything you feel. Indeed I am ‘touched with the feelings of your infirmities (and weaknesses’) (Hebrews 4:15) I know what you are going through, for I am going through it with you, I am with you and I always will be.

My precious child ‘I will direct you in paths of righteousness’ (Proverbs 8:20) listen again to my words, ‘I love you as the Father has loved me’ (John 15:9) truly ‘I will

never leave you nor never forsake you’ (Hebrews 13:5) for you are mine.

Once again, ‘Be still and know that I am God’ (Psalm 46:10) and that my ‘peace (my quietness) I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid’ (John 14:27)

‘Come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace, (kindness and favour) to help in time of need’ (Hebrews 4:16)

Rejoice then my beloved child for have you not heard ‘whatsoever is born of me overcomes the world and that this is the victory that overcomes the world, even your faith’ (1 John 5:4)

Have you not read in my word that ‘he that has the Son has life’ (1 John 5:12) for ‘you have overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony and loved not your life unto death’ (Revelation 12:1)

I have ‘called you to my marriage supper’ and have clothed you in robes of righteousness’ (Revelation 19:8-9)

I am he who will ‘wipe away all tears from your eyes, for there shall be no more death, neither sorrow or crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things will have passed away’ (Revelation 21:4)

‘I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end and I will give unto all who are thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely’ because you have overcome you shall inherit all things and I will be your God and you shall be my child, (Revelation 21:6-7)

‘There shall be no more curse’ ‘no more night, and no need for a candle neither light of the sun for I the Lord God do give you light’ and you shall reign for ever and ever’ ‘these sayings are faithful and true’ ‘behold I come quickly’ (Revelation 22:3-7)

Therefore know in your heart that ‘forgiveness, mercy and grace flow from my heart as freely as my redeeming blood flowed from my side’ so let’s talk soon…
