Transcript of Farmers Market Book

I arrived very early on an overcast day. I don’t like crowds and love rain so this was a good thing. Umbrellas, awnings and a hodgepodge of ovehangs protected me from the rain. The aisles were empty, showing a patchwork of warn and uneven concrete aisles. Only a few venders were setting up. Tables and chairs sat empty in somber corners, waiting to be pillaged by tired, hungry shoppers ghting for a seat.

I took a deep breath and was lured by diverse aromas of savory dishes. My eyes feasted on tasty colors of candied apples, bright oranges and Birds of Paradise. A lobster and a sh swam by a stall. I was satiated. The clock struck twelve and it was time to leave.
