Marco Polo

Early LifeMarco Polo was born in Venice, Italy in 1251.

His father bought and sold goods from the

Far East.When Marco was 16

his mother died on his birthday. His father came back and took

Marco with him.

FIRST JOURNEY

Marco explored Asiawith his father

and served in the court of China for 20 years.

He had been travelling since a child with

his Uncle Nicole.

TIMELINE1254- Born September

15th1275- Goes with his

Father to Asia.

1292- Polo asked to

return home .

1295 -The Polo’s return to venice

1298- arrested

1299-released from jail.

1324 8th Januay dies in Venice.
