Definition

• Expected Behavior is that which would be socially expected in a given situation.

• Communication Skills the ability to convey information to another effectively and efficiently. Pharmaceutical managers with good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills help facilitate the sharing of information bet people within a company for its commercial benefit.

Implications for pharmaceutical company:• Improve market access• Find growth in new areas• Be more productive• Create partnership• Be patient-centric

There are many situation often involve sensitive and difficult to handle matters which can include:

• Personal hygiene • Dress or professional image • Medical and mental health issues • Alcohol on drag related issues• Bullying or harassment in appropriate language

and attitude.

Behavioral Skill

• Behavior is the manifest, observable response in a given situation with respect to a given target.

• Intention is an indication of a person's readiness to perform a given behavior, and it is considered to be the immediate antecedent of behavior.

Attitude toward a behavior is the degree to which performance of the behavior is positively or negatively valued.

Actual behavioral control refers to the extent to which a person has the skills, resources, and other prerequisites needed to perform a given behavior.

Behavioral beliefs: A behavioral belief is the subjective probability that the behavior will produce a given outcome.

Technical Standards: Pharmacist are also required to meet the technical standards.

Honesty and Academic Integrity: Pharmacists are expected to abide by the Community Standards of Behavior as outlined in the Specification.

Ethical Values: Pharmacy Professionals must demonstrate the highest level of professional demeanor and behavior.
