LOCATION AND CLIMATE

The Inuit live in Canada, Greenland , Siberia , and Alaska.The climate was the average of the high of 50°F and the low of -32°F.

HOME STRUCTURE AND FAMILY STRUCTURE

The Inuit lived in igloos made of very compact blocks of snow.They were forced to marry.The dad and his wives, kids , grandparents all lived together.

FOOD.They eat walruses , seals , whale , caribou , polar bears, berries , fireweed , tubers , roots , and stems.

CLOTHING AND TOOLS

They wear parkas and some of them are made from polar bear fur.They also used a ulu witch was kind of like a knife.Other tools are bows, harpoon, and a war club.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND COMMUNICATION

They believe in Christianity , Shamanism , and Animism.Their main communication is the Yupik language.

ARTS AND CRAFTSThey weaved baskets.They also made Ivory carvings and masks.
