Media Technologies used in the research and planning of my trailer and ancillary tasks
Two technologies which helped my greatly with the research and planning section of my task was YouTube and Apple Trailers. By using these it enabled me to easily access a variety of existing period drama trailer, so I was able to find out the conventions of period drama trailer enabling me to be able to implement these convention into my own trailer.

When researching my location and then planning the different parts of the location I wanted to use. I took a variety of different shots from the location and uploaded them onto Photobucket so I can easily plan what different shots I wanted and which part of the location would be best to shoot them in.

To research my genre, and then the classification for my trailer I used a variety of sites such as; Google, BFI, Film Education and BBFC.

An programme which on reflection could have help my more with the planning of my trailer in particular was animatics, which would have enabled me to make an animated storyboard which would have allowed me to plan my trailer more in depth. Unfortunately due to time restraints and lack of knowledge about the programme I thought it was in my best interests not to use it
