EUROPE DAY 9th MAY

What is Europe Day???

It is an annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe, commemorating the creation of the European Union

These posters were prepared to invite everyone to participate in a Comenius Poster Contest on Europe Day

Some last year students, just after their final exams, helped us to decorate the room with the flags of all our Comenius partners

And at last Comenius Poster Contest has started …

…with a few comments on poster making by our ART TEACHER

…and some brainstorming

And then was only pure work.We painted, cut, drew, sticked, glistered, thought all the time and so on…

Some younger students came to support us, and our HEADMISTRESS paid us a visit

And finally we finished

Our poster symbolizes the creation of the European Union. The blots are in national colours of the countries which established the European Union. The pen is the symbol of signing of the Treaty on the European Union.

Our poster presents Europe Day. It symbolizes the unity of all the countries. There are two hands and out of them the national flags are flying. The motto of our poster is:

United in Diversity.

The idea of our poster was ‘Different Countries, the Same Thought’. You can see some European flags as well as the United Europe flag.

‘We Are a Unity’ - that’s our motto! It is our poster on Europe Day. It’s a model who is wearing a very original dress, symbolizing the United Europe. On her head there is a wreath with gold stars. They are the symbols of the European Flag.

Our poster presents two joined hands which symbolize the integration of the United Europe. The flags on arms show all the countries of the United Europe. Our motto is ‘Europe Together Forever’ which speaks for itself.
