both universities was excellent

1. Computational studies of within-person variability

2. Studies on the human perceptual representation of faces

3. Improving face recognition in the real world

Outputs: Theoretical

ERC bureaucracy

Overall: a lot less hassle than a collaborative grant

Nevertheless some significant issues arise:

Start date/ethics – significant loss of time

Simply ignored year-long requests for an extension,

despite repeated promises.

Leading to return of about £250k
