Mission of Equal Exchange

• Equal exchange mission is to build long term partnership that are economically just and environmentally sound to foster mutually benefit relations between farmers and consumers and to demonstrate, through our success the viability of worker co-operative and fair trade.

Interfaith Programs• Partnerships with faith based relief, development and human rights

organizations to help communities of faith to learn about and promote fair trade.• For each purchase made through our partnerships, a portion goes

into a small farmer fund that our partner organizations use in their relief and development work. • In 2008, Interfaith program participants purchased more than 1

million pounds of products.• In 2008, there were more than 17900 participants.
