-The most important parts of the EOP are:-White House Office-Office of Management and Budget (OMB) -National Security Council (NSC)-Office of Administration-Council of Economic Advisors (CEA)

White House Office- close political advisors, lawyer, press secretary, etc screen the flow of information & people trying to reach the president.

Office of Management and Budget (OMB)- prepare the federal budget and monitors spending of federal agencies

National Security Council (NSC)-helps president coordinate the military & foreign policy

EOP

Office of Administration: provides administration services to all of the executive offices.

EOP

Council of Economic Advisors (CEA)-help president carryout his role as economic leader.

The President also gets help from his cabinet, which is a group of advisors that include the heads of the 15 top-level executive departments.

-The heads of the departments are called secretary (secretary of state), except for the head of the Department of Justice, who is referred to as the attorney general.
