PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Her name is Enriqueta Marí Masip and she is 73 years old. She was born in 1937 in Lladó, but now she is living in Figueres with her husband, so she isn’t widow.

FAMILY

Enriqueta has got four children; tree girls and one boy. They have got more children so now, she has got 6 grandchildren.

SCHOOL

When she was living in Lladó, she went to school. She didn’t like studying because her teacher caned all the students. When she was fourteen, she lift school to go to work, because her family was poor.

CAREEREnriqueta started to work at fourteen. Her first job was as a maid. She cleaned the house and took care the children of other families. She was working in different houses for many years, but she also went to France with her mum to pick grapes.

MEMORIES

When she was younger, she wanted to be hairdresser, but she couldn’t do that because the conditions, and because their life was faster, she said.

Her best memory was when she went on holidays, in Llançà, every summer. And her worst memory was when she was ill for two years.

HISTORY

Life has changed a lot from last century, she said, because before, the conditions were poor; she was always cold and hungry, and to survive she had to work a lot.

HOBBIES

Her hobbies are read a lot, travell around Spain and go out with her friends and family.
