ThecitationstatesthatawomanattheresidenceidentifiedCaseyMyers,31,of300JRFurnitureRoadasthemanwhowalkeduptotheirfrontdoorandproceed-edintotheirgarage/outbuilding. Accordingtothecitation,afemalewentoutsidetoaskMyerswhathewasdo-ingandsawhimclimboutofthegaragewindowandrunintothewoods.Noitemswerebelievedtohavebeentaken. TrooperRobinsonchargedMyerswiththirddegreeburglaryandpersistentfelonyoffender. Whileinvestigatingtheburglaries,thetrooperwascheckingLeadsOnlineonSept.12foritemsrelatedtoburglariesbe-

inginvestigatedbyhimselfandtheIrvinePoliceDepartment.TrooperRobinsondiscoveredthatMyershadpawnedapink.22caliberrifletoEstillGun&Pawn. The Irvine Police De-partment continues theircrackdown on suspecteddrug dealers. They madetwoarrestsonWestCedarGroveonSept.13. Donald Ray Hardy, 65,was arrested at his resi-dence and charged withtwo counts of traffickingin a controlled substance,firstdegreeandsecondof-fense. One citation says thatHardy sold five hydroco-done (Lortab) to a confi-dential informant on July20andreceived$50cash.The second citation statesthathesoldaconfidentialinformant four hydroco-donefor$40onAugust8.

WhenHardywasarrest-ed,IPDconfiscated$83incash. The police depart-ment will seek forfeitureofthecash. Hardy was arraignedin Estill District Court onSept.14wherehepleadednot-guilty. Hardy plans to hire hisown attorney. He waivedhis right to a preliminaryhearingwithin tensof thearraignment. Judge Wil-liam Leach set a date ofSept. 24 for Hardy’s pre-liminaryhearing.
