AN ACT TO: Recognize the ASUW Employees and Volunteers of the Month of

November

WHEREAS: Employees and volunteers of the Association are nominated by their

peers in recognition of outstanding work, and;

WHEREAS: The Senate Leadership (Jed Bradley, Sarah Round, Bryan Dosono, and

Sarah Wade) have successfully “motivated their senators… week after week” and

“built a membership that is truly representative of the student body at large,” while

also “sharing ASUW’s proud legacy with our newer members by hosting a reception

for the ASUW alumni who initiated the Medal of Honor Memorial project,” and

WHEREAS: Erik Spishak (OGR Office Manager, University Transportation Committee,

Student Transportation Taskforce) is an “active member” for OGR as well as the

committee and taskforce upon which he sits, “creating a new website for OGR in

under 36 hours” that “[made] it more accessible and informational for students,” and

has been “hard-working, efficient yet careful, and incredibly innovative” in his

endeavors.

THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF THE

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON BOARD OF DIRECTORS

THAT: The ASUW formally recognizes the Senate Leadership: Jed Bradley (Chair),

Sarah Round (Vice-Chair), Bryan Dosono (Membership Coordinator) and Sarah Wade

(Clerk) as the Employees of the Month of November, and;

THAT: The ASUW formally recognizes Erik Spishak (OGR, University Transportation

Committee, Student Transportation Taskforce) as the Volunteer of the Month of

November.
