When speaking to an adult orsomeone you don’t know

you use: the UD. command

When speaking to a group or more than one person

you use: the UDS. command

How to form the imperative of –AR verbs

• Start with the “yo” form present tense of a verb.

Ex: Hablo

•Remove the “o”

Add the opposite vowel.

Add an “e” or “en” to –AR verbseen

How to form the imperative of –ER and –IR verbs

• Start with the “yo” form present tense of a verb.

Ex: Tengo

•Remove the “o”

Add the opposite vowel.
