One Africa is a newly established, owner-run safari initiative inspiring unique safari experiences across southern Africa

Where are we from?

Mozambique, Africa:• Situated on the east coast (Indian Ocean) of

Southern Africa• Borders South Africa &

Swaziland in the south, Zimbabwe and Zambia in

the centre, Malawi & Tanzania in the north

• Length of coastline the same as the US west coast!• Stable political and

economic situation – unusual for Africa

• Large foreign interests in mining, agriculture,

tourism, conservation & social development

Mozambique has unfortunately had to endure decades of internal conflict from the late 1960s to the early 1990s - initially a revolutionary struggle for independence from the Portuguese,

followed by a much more fractured and bitter civil war triggered by international events in the 1970s and 1980s...

However, since its free and fair elections of 1994, the country has had numerous other peaceful democratic election processes, with 3 different presidents and a highly-praised social

development & upliftment programme emerging of late.

In terms of African tourism potential, we’d like to think that Mozambique is now at the point where it is one of the most exciting countries to visit... one of the most diverse, safe and

interesting African travel destinations around...

These days Mozambique is known for its warm tropical coastline & exclusive islands lined with white, sandy beaches...

...its pristine conservation areas including tropical marine reefs, diverse wildlife, and incredible scenery...

...and Mozambique is known for its wonderful people, with a rich cultural history and traditions

Mozambique is now the ultimate African beach-and-bush travel destination...
