• Physicalwellnessinvolvesphysicalactivitytobuildendurance,flexibility,strengthandfitness.Itcanbeachievedthroughregularexercise,properdiet,andnutrition,sleepandrestaswellasavoidanceoftobaccouse,drugabuse,andexcessivealcoholconsumption.
• Intellectualwellnessinvolvesputtingone’sintelligencetoitsbestpossibleuse.Itrequireslearning,problem-solvingandcreativepursuitsaswellasreading,writingandothermentally-stimulatingandchallengingactivities.
• Emotionalwellnessfocusesonhowonefeels,thinksandcowithlife.Itcanaffectone’sabilitytodealwithnormallifestressors,relationshipswithothers,job/schoolsatisfaction,andsuccessaswellasthequalityoflifeandhappiness.
• Spiritualwellnessisaboutfindingmeaningandpurposeinlife.Itinvolvesmindfulnessaswellasappreciationandacceptanceoflife.Spiritualwellnesscanbeexperiencedandachievedthroughmeditation,religion,music,art,literature,natureandconnectionswithlovedonesandotherpeopleinthecommunity.

• EnvironmentalwellnessinvolveslivinginharmonywiththeEarthbyunderstandingyourimpactonthenaturalworldandyourpersonalsurroundings.Italsoincludestakingactiontoprotectandhealtheworldaroundyou.Whenyouleadalifestylethatisrespectfultotheenvironment,youleadalifestylethatisrespectfultoyourself!Minimizeexposureandproductionofharmfulelements;commonenvironmentalthreatsincludecarbondioxideproduction,airpollution,ultra-violetradiationinthesunlight,chemicals,noise,waterpollution,andsecond-handsmoke.
