USC v. Stafon Johnson
sued the school in January 2011 for unspecified damages greater than $25,000 after a September 2009 weightlifting accident alleging negligence in the weight room by a strength coach nearly cost him his life and forced him to undergo several emergency surgeries.
Arrington v. National Collegiate Athletic Association
Arrington was bringing a lawsuit against the NCAA because they were not doing enough research on concussions and they had no system for players to come back after they suffered a concussion
Claimed negligance on part of the NCAA for not providing reasonable and appropriate rules to minimize the risk of injury to players
Davis v. Carter High school Parents of Tyler davis sued the coaches of the high school
because they said that they violated there son’s due process rights by not providing enough water and keeping an eye on davis
