SB 1.16.24: Mother, you are the reservoir of all riches. Please inform me of the root cause of your tribulations by which you have been reduced to such a weak state. I think that the powerful influence of time, which conquers the most powerful, might have forcibly taken away all your fortune, which was adored even by the demigods.

By the grace of the Lord, each and every planet is created fully equipped. So not only is this earth fully equipped with all the riches for the maintenance of its inhabitants, but also when the Lord descends on the earth the whole earth becomes so enriched with all kinds of opulence that even the denizens of heaven worship it with all affection. But by the will of the Lord, the whole earth can at once be changed. He can do and undo a thing by His sweet will. Therefore no one should consider himself to be self-sufficient or independent of the Lord. (Purport)

The science of ecology and resource management in a nutshell in context to

complete reality.

Definition: e-col-o-gy (i kol'uh jee) n. 1. the branch of biology dealing with the relations and interactions between organisms and their environment. 2. the set of relationships existing between organisms and their environment. 3. Also called <human ecology.> the branch of sociology concerned with the spacing and interdependence of people and institutions. 4. the advocacy of protection of the air, water, and other natural resources from pollution or its effects; environmentalism.

Therefore not enough to eat for

all ?

Éçopaniñad: pürëam idam [Éçopaniñad, Invocation].

Complete arrangements for the production of all the necessities of life are made by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. People should therefore learn how to satisfy the yajïa-puruña, Lord Viñëu. Indeed, the living entity’s prime business is to satisfy the Lord because the living entity is part and parcel of the Lord. Thus the whole system is so arranged that the living entity must do his duty as he is constitutionally made. Without doing so, all living entities must suffer. That is the law of nature. (SB 4.19.8)

The products of the purnam are also purnam, but not in the same way…They are dependent!

In the [Éçopaniñad, Invocation], it is said, pürëam adaù pürëam idaà pürëät pürëam udacyate. In the creation of Kåñëa, there cannot be any scarcity. Everything is sufficiently there. Pürëam, it is complete, perfectly made, either this planet, that planet. Everywhere, the living entities are there, and Kåñëa has made provision for every one of them. There is no question of scarcity. But people are not obeying the orders of Kåñëa or the authorities, that “You produce…” Annäd bhavanti bhütäni. Even in Bible, it is said, “Thou shalt not kill.” They are not producing food grains, and they are killing the animals and eating. How they will be happy?

The earth is fully potent..

... she carries the burden of love, but if we have no love for her and for her Master, then there are problems.

“Nowadays people try to manage resources without understanding the reality – how things work – they do not understand the system.”

Kåñëa’s stock is never exhausted. We must simply become obedient to Him, and the supply will be there. Therefore a Kåñëa conscious person has no economic problem; everything is sufficiently supplied by Kåñëa.

The child is a burden of love for its mother. She does not complain…

The wholeness of everything is realized only when we engage things in the Lord’s service.

No one is self sufficient or independentto do what he likes.

We suffer because we transgress this principle…

* What is the nature of this world?

* What kind of suffering do we encounter?

* Will attempts for a perfect ecology without knowledge of devotional

life really solve our problems?

We want to remain young and energetic

But…very soon we start growing

old and our bodies

become weak &
