SustainabilityReduce Water Use up to 95% vs. a Cooling Tower With no evaporation of process water, the Ecodry 3DK keeps your
water clean and your equipment scale-free. It often operates
without consuming any water – activating the adiabatic system
only on hotter days to pre-cool incoming air.
Saving 4 million liters (1 million gallons ) of water per year
for the average 350 kW (100 ton) system
Greatly reducing chemical requirements and completely
eliminating chemical discharges
High-temperature ambient air passes through the lower adiabatic chamber.
In the chamber, nozzles create a fine mist of water from a separate source.
Humidification of the air reduces the temperature prior to contact with the heat exchangers.
Patented design prevents water drift outside the chamber, eliminating heat exchanger scaling and avoiding the risk of proliferation of bacteria, such as Legionella. In addition, the absence of stagnant water helps to prevent bacterial development.
To ensure consistent cooling, the control system continuously adjusts the amount of water sprayed. The heat exchangers, meanwhile, remain completely dry.
