ECAL Electronics, DCS• T-MUX module

– multiplexing + transducer module (RBFE), has single channel transducer ASIC

– sensor excitation and raw signal conditioning for 8/16 sensors

– ASIC : has current source (1/10/100 A), diff. amplifier, Vref (2.5 V), control logic,

provides diff. voltage (0-2.5 V) output signal

– Sensor excitation via DC current, 1 or 10 A

– ASIC : developed for LHC cryogenics control, designed and tested for use in radiation

environment

• issue of radiation hard MUXs investigated at the moment

– Two technicians from Protvino have work together with LHC-ACR group on development

of this T-MUX module

– currently under test in ETH lab
