Welcome back to your HOLIDAY CLUB for the Jack Hunt Cluster of Schools. We offer a warm
welcome to all families and children . Come and join us and take part in some exciting activities from
Streetdance to Learning to Cycle. There is something for everyone.
Places are limited. We will not be able to confirm places, but will contact you if a session is full or
if it has to be cancelled due to lack of numbers. With view to health and safety places are limited to
an agreed tutor : student ratio. Priority will be given to those who are booked on a session. Do book
early to prevent disappointment.
Dance Xperience, Detective Xperience and Adventure
Xperience days require online booking with Sports Xtra.
WE PREFER BOOKINGS at least 48 HOURS BEFORE A
SESSION. Bookings must be accompanied by a signed
application form by parent/carer and payment. We have
kept charges as low as possible – your participation helps
this club keep going and expanding.
Most sessions are held at Jack Hunt School. Come to
the NEW Community Reception ( near the Swimming Pool
entrance) where we will welcome you to your activities.

Netherton, Peterborough see inside for full details.

Being Different Belonging Together
Coach: Steve Fox Ages 7 +
These sessions are for students that can already ride a bike but want to learn techniques for racing and participate in some racing sessions.
All equipment / bikes provided.
Please bring water for refreshment and suitable clothes for weather.

Come and use the fantastic 3G Football pitch at the Grange, Netherton to improve your football skills. Shin pads must be worn please.

Ages 7+
Two fun filled days of arts crafts and one of cooking. This is particularly useful for those students who do not speak English as a first language.

Want to star in your own piece of music? Join the holiday percussion band and get a chance to play a drum kit. This is a FUN session! Ideal for beginners.

Guitar and Vocal Workshop
Wednesday 10 April and Thursday 11 April

Tutors: Chris Watson and Laurette Watson Ages 7 –19
Guitar and vocalist to work separately to be introduced to different styles Rock, Pop and Blues.
The Aim of session is for guitarists to be acoustically sensitive to vocalists and both to perform at the end of the workshop a mix of styles.
You can attend any day separately, or both days.
Tutors:
Miss Poppy Mason and Miss Michaela Murthwaite
Ages 7+
Have fun learning 2 new styles of dance (Contemporary and Broadway Jazz) before putting together a performance to show family and friends at the end of the day. No previous experience necessary—just lots of enthusiasm. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring a packed lunch and water.
Popstar—Singing and Dancing
Tuesday 9 April 10am—3pm
Tutors: Miss Michaela Murthwaite and Ms Geena Hird
Ages 7—11
Want to learn how to sing and dance like a pop star? Then this workshop is for you. Our tutors will provide vocal coaching and dance tuition before helping you put it all together. No previous experience necessary. Family and friends are invited to watch a short performance at the end of the day. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a packed lunch and water.
Family Hand Drumming
Tuesday 2 April 1.30pm—3.30pm
Tutor: Martin Bright Ages 7+
This is an active and fun session learning new percussion instruments and playing hand drums as a team. One parent/carer can bring more than one child. This session received rave reviews last time.

Dance Xperience
Monday 8 April
Day sessions for 5—
11 year olds
From 9.30am—4.00pm
£18 per day
Extra time is available from 8.30am - 9.30am and 4.00pm - 5.00pm at an extra cost.

Learn some cool dance moves whilst having lots of fun. Our
qualified dance instructors will choreography some fantastic
routines in hip-hop, street dance and chart. At the end of
the day you do a short performance that family and friends
are welcome to come and watch. Previous dance
experience is not needed—if you like to dance you’ll love
this day.
Street Dance
Thursday 4 and 11 April

Tutors: Kamal Hyman and Asha Daly-Moore
Ages 7+
Come and have fun! It doesn't matter if you have not
done streetdance before. Guaranteed to make you
laugh and let off steam! Streetdance has proved to be
very popular with rave reviews throughout!
Wear comfortable attire and non-marking trainers.
Bring your water and a packed lunch.

You need to bring PE Kit, trainers and water. Sunscreen should be applied prior to coming. Bring water as thirsty fun! Sessions maybe inside and outside.

This is a two session package, it will be a progressive course so students must attend both sessions.
Steve will help students start to learn to ride safely and confidently. These session are held within the safety of Jack Hunt School grounds.

Learn to be an adventurer.
We'll teach you basic bush-craft skills such as shelter
building, tracking and making simple tools. Learn some of
the survival secrets that adventurers and explorers have
used for centuries.
