ABOUT PROGRAMME
It is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to be a part of celebrating the
UNIZULU’S 60th year celebration by participating in the “Earth and
Environmental Sciences International Webinar Conference” jointly hosted
by University of Zululand and Chang’an University, China.
This is a special opportunity for participants from South Africa and from
around the world to come together including researchers, scientists,
professors, industries and mining representatives and students providing
them with the opportunity to report, share, and discuss scientific questions,
achievements, and challenges in this field.
The aim of the conference is to discover advances, experiences and innovative ideas on issues
related to Earth sciences where you will be able to share experiences and research findings, discuss
challenges encountered and solutions adopted and to have opportunities to establish productive
new academic and industry research collaborations.
We are also very interested to welcome students and researchers to register and attend in order to
provide them the opportunity to gain and share their knowledge in Earth sciences. The conference
includes Keynote lectures by eminent personalities from around the world. Themes of the diverse
earth sciences topics that will be covered in this comprehensive conference include Climate
changes, Water resources, remote sensing, Geo Hazards etc. The Conference Organizing
Committee and I look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event and to meeting all of you
through web on 1st and 2nd of February, 2021.
