If you want to be able to check the resolution yourself, better save theartwork as a jpg. You can then find the width (and height) in pixels anddo some easy calculations: Divide the number of pixels found by 300 andyou will have the dimensions of your artwork in inches when printed@300dpi. 1 inch = 2.54 cm.Or measure the artwork in inches (24cm = 9.45 inch) and multiply by thedesired ppi and see what you should have:9.45 inch @ 300ppi = 2835 pixels. It works the other way around too: artwork measuring 24cmx24cm butscanned in @ 150dpi will only measure 12x12cm when printed @ 300dpi.It’s easy enough if you own a calculator!(As always: I have not included the necessary bleed in this.)Or you could simply open your work in Photoshop and look it up (whichsadly is not possible when you save your work as pdf. Although you canlook it up in some screen hidden in the advanced menu in Acrobat).
To all artists: if you do not know or understand themeaning of the word ‘bleed’ and you don’t know or under-stand how or why adding a bleed-area to your work could be very helpful to a designer either ASK or GOOGLE it!!!!!

EXPLANATIONA green background means: for the purpose of the projectin its current format the size and dpi of the artwork receivedis sufficient to (very) good. (and more often than notfits the dimensions as originally asked for).
An orange background means: there are some problemswith the artwork received, but I can probably manage if theproject stays in its current dimensions.(The size/dpi of the image however does not meet the dimensionsasked for, and limit the use of the image).
The quality of the image received is too poor to use.Usually this means the dpi is not sufficient. The format asked for amounts to 2835x2835 pixels (notincluding bleed). At present the absolute minimal dimensions of the artwork are 2126x2126 pixels (not including bleed!).
If some of the text on the green background is orange, itmeans there are some difficulties that require the attentionof the designer. Usually the image can be used as is, butwith limited possibilities, which does mean the designergets frustrated a bit!!
