DRAFT 3 TARGETS

Basic Targets:• Use more editing conventions • Push camera movement• Vary types of filler shot• Variety of camera angles• Improve lighting• De-clutter and edit digipak• Add smoke

Lighting• This is a huge problem of us and affects the quality of our shots • Due to our location lighting is hard to create • To help, we have sourced a soft box and will also be using car

headlights to add more artificial lighting and hopefully solve or improve the problem.

From Video – Minimal lighting from setting

We will attach this to the camera to hopefully improve lighting

Filler Shots• This type of shot is what fills/makes the video and is very conventional• Due to the nature of the shot, they’re very spontaneous• We have decided we want to create a ‘filler narrative’ • We want the performers to enter a restaurant and purchase products/food, to

make a more appealing video (Storyline)

Fillers:-Group of people driving up to the location -Meeting each other-Walking into store-Purchasing products -Eating-Hanging around

Smoke• The video is all performance so there is lots of importance placed

on visual aesthetics within the video • One of which is smoke which we would need to utilize • We have sourced multiple smoke bombs which we will be using in

future drafts

Here is a 10 pack, burns white smoke and will last approx. 30secs

Blue smoke bomb which has a burn time of approx. 1min

Other extras • We are removing the bandana’s from the costume as they look

unprofessional and don’t support the brand image

• We are trying to be simple but effective

• We are currently sourcing a new car to film with to upgrade from the current one

• We have learnt new editing techniques and will incorporate them in the future drafts

• We are also pushing camera work to new levels

Digipak/Magazine• The digipak and magazine needed lots of improvement • As a result we have planned a photoshoot day • Both the magazine and digipak will be totally reconstructed and

de-cluttered

Here is our draft 2 magazine cover, it has a very weak photo, we would like to take proper ones with more professional lighting.

We would also like to use the various colours of the graffiti wall to add to the brand identity of our video.
