Step 1 — Rear Panel

The rear panel is secured to thefront case and can simply be priedapart without damage.

Step 2

Carefully, wedge the plastic openingtool in-between the seam thatseparates both halves of the tablet.

Step 3

Run the plastic opening tool alongthe seam looking for the clips and liftup on the rear panel.

Step 4

The rear panel should comecompletely off.

Step 5 — Motherboard

Remove any static tape covering themotherboard.

Step 6

Using the flat end of a spudger or tweezers, remove the three cables connected to themotherboard.

The cables can be disconnected by lifting up on the black section of the socket, as shown by thearrow.

Once the lever is lifted, pull out the cable by gently tugging on it.

Step 7

Using a Phillips Head Screwdriversize 0, remove the four screwsattaching the motherboard.

Step 8

Using wire cutters, cut the red, black, and grays wires. Leave enough wire to be re-soldered back ifpossible.

The motherboard can now be removed

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
