Your Bully Story… Everybody’s got one.§ I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours. J

§ Safety of your bedroom doesn’t work now-a-days. In fact, it’s where some kids get sucked in.

§ If you’re worried about your child bullying others or being bullied, watch, listen, ask.

§ For middle-school and H.S. age, ask to see their phone. If you get a No, that’s a BIG red flag.

§ Act then and there.

§ Ask why not.

§ Acquire information.

CHILD SAFETY PROGRAMS

Safe EyesIt is customizable software allowing for keywords and site categories to be blocked. Numerous logins are possible, but only the administrator can decide which sites can be enabled.

Content PurityAnother software program that scans for pornographic images to determine if there might be any hidden pornographic content that your children might be about to view.

Monitor all apps!

National PTA collaborated with LifeLock to create a new program called thesmarttalk.org –a step-by-step understanding of what apps, TV shows and technology is out there for kids. The Goal?? Form an agreement.
