What is Digital Technology?

• Digital technology is where new media refers to on-demand access to content any time on a digital device. Most technologies described as ‘new media’ are digital often where they have been manipulated, networkable and interactive, for example internet, websites, video games, CD-ROM’s and DVD’s.

Digital Technology Needed to Create a Horror Trailer

• When creating a horror film a variety of digital technology will have to be used such as filming the product, producing the product, burning the film onto a disc, creating the packaging etc. Also uploading the trailer onto YouTube will also be another use of digital technology as this results in the trailer being accessible to people all over the world.
