1. Process to map digital certificate on MPCTD Portal
Following is the process to map your digital certificate on portal. You can map Digital certificate with .cer extension only
1.1. Map Digital Certificate
1.1.1. You need to login to MPCTD web portal (https://mptax.mp.gov.in) with your login id and password.

1.1.2. Following screen will be visible after login
1.1.3. Click Digital certificate

1.1.4. To upload the digital certificate, click Browse
Noteà Certificate with .cer extension will be uploaded only.
1.1.5. Click upload to upload the certificate on portal. Following screen will displayed.
Click Browse
Click Upload

1.1.6. Click ok to upload the certificate following screen will displayed.
1.1.7. Certificate uploaded successfully.

1.2. Update/Remove Certificate on portal
Following is the process to update/remove the certificate on portal
1.2.1. Click Digital Certificate

1.2.2. Click Browse to select the certificate.
1.2.3. Click Update Certificate to update the certificate. In case to remove the certificate click Remove Certificate

2. File e-return with digital signature. Following is the process to file e-return with digital signature
2.1. Process to download the return template and attach digital certificate.
2.1.1. You need to login to MPCTD web portal (https://mptax.mp.gov.in) with your login id and password
2.1.2. Following screen will be visible after login.

2.1.3. Click VAT Return Form 10 following screen will display.
2.1.4. You need to download e-return template for digital signature.Click VAT Return Form 10 with digital Signature

2.1.5. Click Save to save the template. For digital signature e-return template will be in .xlsm extension
2.1.6. Enter the data in the e-return template

2.1.7. Click digital sign and save button to attach digital certificate and generate upload file .

2.1.8. To select the certificate click change. You must select certificate which is mapped on MPCTD web portal in section 1.1

2.1.9. Click sign to attach the digital certificate following screen will displayed.

2.2. Upload digitally signed e-return template.
2.2.1. Following is the process to upload return template
2.2.2. Click Return Submission to submit the return.
Click Return Submission

2.2.3. Check Return filing with digital signature as Yes
2.2.4. Click upload to upload the template.

2.2.5. E-return with digital signature filed successfully. Following message will be displayed
