Film illustrates:– Cyberbullying through texting, phone calls,

websites.– How it affects those involved– The seriousness of the issue – police involvement

•Very attentive and interested•Some had personal experiences which they shared with group

•All were familiar with the technology – central part of their lives

•We did have to stop the video early -as aimed a school children

•After the video we asked students to think about:–What is cyber-bullying–what technology is used–The dos and don’ts–How to protect themselves

• Resources used:Interactive computer exercise: “Are you a responsible digital citizen” from http://www.digizen.org/cyberbullying/film.aspx#interactive

User makes decisions about what they would do about cyber-bullying scenarios in a school situation.

Students achieved a variety of scores – with only a few high scores.

Website includes:• Teacher guide• Lesson plan• Interviews with the characters

• ‘Laugh at it, your part of it’ -video
