About: was a prominent Mexican painter and the husband of Frida Kahlo.

Diego Rivera was born in Guanajuato, Mexico to a well-to-do family.

Rivera began drawing at the age of three, He had been caught drawing on the walls. His parents, rather than punishing him, installed chalkboards and canvas on the walls.

"It was always the ambition if Diego riviera to express in plastic form the events, ideas and hopes if the Mexican revolution. In order to find a tool suitable for this expression, Diego had to experiment with the technique of fresco painting. This technique consists of painting directly on the wet mortar (mixture of lime and sand). So that the color penetrates and when it dries it fixes it."
