Transcript of Dfd - Process

Money Transfer is a service for customers to send money to their family, friends, etc. Any person can make a Money Transfer transaction and send money to another person. Both sender and receiver are subjected to certain security compliance requirements and may have to provide additional information.

The sender initiates the transaction by completing a small send money form or the “Remittance Form.” After filling it out, the sender will have the option for branch pick-up in which the receiver will pick-up or receive the money in a particular branch. The Remittance Form will be given to the employee and will immediately process the transaction after paying the cash to cover the transfer amount plus applicable fees. Processing would only take less than a minute. The transaction will be automatically added to the sender’s account including the previous transactions made on that branch.

After processing, the employee will give the sender an official receipt where the Tracking Number can be found. This number is the one the sender should give or send to the receiver for him/her to pick-up the money successfully. After receiving the official receipt, the receiver can now receive or pick-up the money to the specified branch.

The receiver can get the remittance on the same day that the money was sent. The process is almost the same and all the receiver need to do is to bring a valid ID. Before dropping-by to any branch, see to it that the tracking number provided by the sender was correct and ready for pick-up. The receiver will fill out the Receive Money form or Encashment form with the information needed. The branch officer will validate the information and he will hand the money together with the receipt. The transaction is complete.
