Week I Progress: Sculpted base. Eye and brow started. (Top and Side View)

Week II Progress: Eyelids and brow definition done. Depth to eye established.

Week III Progress: Iris cut in eye, definition added to eye

Final: Eye smoothed and measured with model (right).

Week I Progress: Created base to sculpt bust from and started carving facial structure.

Week II Progress: Worked on carving figure of head and features of the face.

Week III Progress: Worked on features of hair and facial structure (cheekbones). Began carving

dress and lower half of bust as clay dried. (Frontal and Anterior View)

Week IV Progress: Finished major features of face, started carving hair and dress.

Final: smoothed features and carved hair to a similar likeness given the time constraint.

Model: Bust relief of Rooster by Bartolomeo Ammanati

Week 1 Progress: Created base and added features such as comb, beak, and wattle.

Week II Progress: Redid structure after viewing sculpture at Bargello, began implementing detail work to comb, nostrils and eye base. (Isometric and Front Views)

Final: added mottled details and streaks of feathers and smoothed out beak, comb, and eye features.
