DescriptionMobile laboratories are a convenientway to provide radio-analyticalcapabilities at locations difficultor impossible to serve from centralfacilities. Whether a key portion of anemergency response team or an on-sitefacility for human or animal whole-body counting, mobile laboratoriesplay an increasingly important role inenvironmental monitoring.

Con-tainer modules then are mated withsuitable vehicles available in, andconforming to rules in, the destinationcountry.Laboratories based on these modulesare spacious and comfortable. Theircompletely finished interiors includeheating, air conditioning, lighting andelectrical distribution. Based on userrequirements, Canberra designs thelaboratory, selects and installs equip-ment, and provides training throughits worldwide service organization.Usable interior dimensions are 2.41 m(95 in.) high, 2.26 m (89 in.) wide and2.3 m (7.6 ft), 5.4 m (17.6 ft) or 11.4 m(37.6 ft) long.
