Dear Member, We previously issued Salary Circular 745. Members will recall that a small number of rates were the subject of an Undertaking to ensure that they did not fall below the relevant Modern Award. The Fair Work Commission has issued its Decision on the Annual Wage Review. The results of which take effect from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2020. As a result, we have updated the rates to which those Undertakings apply. Please find attached a Salary Circular which replaces Salary Circular 745 to give effect to the Undertakings to affected classifications. These are found on pages 3 – 5. Other rates included in the Circular are unchanged. Attached is the excel spreadsheet.

MAINTENANCE OF SOME CHIEF AND DEPUTY CHIEF RATES OF PAY As per clause 28.6 of the Agreement, an existing employee who was classified as a:
• Chief Grade 2 Year 2;
• Medical Imaging Technologist Deputy Chief Grade 2 Year 2;
• Chief Grade 4; or
• Medical Imaging Technologist Deputy Chief Grade 4; will continue to receive the same rate of pay they received under the previous Agreement (the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health Professionals, Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2011 – 2015) and in addition will receive the wage increases as specified in clause 28.1 of the current Agreement. Below are the affected translated wage rates calculated for the life of the Agreement.
