• Started when World Vision Development Foundation invited Religious Leaders for a Mindanao Interfaith Fellowship sometime in 2002.
• Local delegates gathered for updating and fellowship; then came up with a common aspiration to work for continual peace and expressed commitment to partner with the ADP for Spiritual Nurturing.

2002 • Hugpong sa Kalambuan-Dabaw, Inc
requested DMI to conduct an Effective Parenthood Seminar TOT to Volunteer Leaders and to members of DMI
• It was at that time that DMI formed an Executive Body to act as the Core Team
• Series of meetings of DMI and HKDI were conducted to discuss areas of complementarity

2002• LCP and COP Trainings were given to
DMI (with HKDI Leaders) with the aim of better program planning
• But DMI understood/learned it as individual transformation and paradigm shifting, from being exclusive to inclusive

2003-2004• DMI, with technical and financial support
from HKDI, was on its way to institutionalization
• VMG was formulated• Constitution and By-Laws was formulated• First Election of Board of Directors

2004• DMI was invited to Assessments and Planning of HKDI,
giving us opportunity to propose Spiritual Nurturing Activities
• Youth Retreat, Couple’s Retreat• The 1st South Central Mindanao Interfaith Fellowship was held
in Mergrande Ocean Resort, Davao City, January 19-23, 2004 with theme "Bridging the Gap towards Peace in Mindanao”It was participated by seven ADPs in South Central Mindanao Ministry Area, including Davao City

Late 2004-2005• P-IGCG was introduced to HKDI; to follow
up Formations given to Families, Parents, Youth, Children
• Purok-Intergenerational Care Group- to set up caring groups in the community
• To develop home grown leaders in the community

Management and Penology)-in partnership with WVDF, conducted lcp
orientation training to 2 BJMP personnel-in partnership with HKDI, conducted cop training
to personnel and inmates-in partnership with MWOP partners, facilitated the
first ever Mindanao Week of Peace Celebration in Davao City Jail
-on going peace forum inside the jail
