Unstructured data can be stored easily. Not mature maintenance tool for development and IT operations are noteworthy.

• Particularly useful for organize disparate data.

• For example online encyclopaedias.

Operational database

• data about the things that go on inside an enterprise.

•  storage devices are not all attached to a common processing unit.
