Cyber-crime, also called computer crime, the use of a computer as an instrument to further illegal ends, such as committing fraud, trafficking in child pornography and intellectual property, stealing identities, or violating privacy. Cyber-crime, especially through the Internet, has grown in importance as the computer has become central to commerce, entertainment, and government.

Make sure you have a good anti-virus software

which regularly runs scanning programs for spy ware, a personal firewall and a spam filter

Never keep passwords stored on your computer, or disclose them to anybody

If you are accessing banking details from a computer that is used by other people, ensure you do not click on "save" password, as another user could gain access

Check your bank statements and receipts carefully to ensure there are no fraudulent transactions

It is not possible to eliminate cyber

the laws more stringent to check
