    aims at improving access to knowledge by inter connecting all knowledge and research institutions in the country over the video conferencing and high speed

    broadband. For India to become a significant research and development hub, it has to become part of this wave of collaboration and co-creation. The NKN is a step atattaining this objective.

    NIC-VIDCON: Aim of this project is to deploy and install the desktop based video conference system at desk of all CPMGs/DGP(Deputy Gener al of police) in the countryover NCNET(IP Network).

    NIC-DISNET: - Aim of this project is to deploy and install the executive video conference system at all the districts of Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka. Purpose tointerconnect all NIC districts computer cells through video Conference over the NICNET(IP Network)

    NIC Video Phone: - In this project, all DG, DDG, SIO and senior scientist can audio-video interact on self-desk through AETHRA Video phone over IP and ISDN networkand NDTV for Audio/Video

    DD News Project: - Involved with DD for their project of video streaming and decoding with hardware as well as software decoders. This project also involved managingof encoding server and decoders from the central location using web interface application and providing instant Video on Demand.
