flags when you observe a pattern of behavior that concerns you, ensuring that the people on campus who can intervene are aware.”

been assigned or are enrolled in your courses.”

Within CU Succeed Powered By: Starfish:

• Raise a flag (When you have a concern with a particular student, raise a flag to communicate your observations.)

• Give kudos (Kudos: “Virtual pat on the back” to encourage students.)

• Network (The Network tab shows the people with whom the student has relationships such as instructors.)

Login to Starfish• Log into Starfish by going to Campbell’s Blackboard page (https://blackboard.campbell.edu/)

and click on the “Starfish” tab at the top of the page

●Click on the three lines at the top left and select “appointments”●Select the “week” view (select 7 day if you will tutor on weekends)

●Select “office hours”

●Student○ Type in student name

●When?○ Include t imes

●Where?○ Choose a location

●Reason○ Select based on appointment

●Course○ Select if applicable

●Sharing○ Can leave shared

Don’t forget to click submit!

●Tit le○ Can change “office hours” to say “advising hours”

●What day(s)?○ Can make reoccurring appointments or change schedule each week

●What t ime?○ Can have more than 1 hours blocks

●Where?○ Choose one locat ion

●Office Hours Type○ Scheduled or Walk-ins

●How Long○ 30 minutes or 1 hour recommended

● Instruct ions & Start /End Date○ If you want to leave any instruct ions puthere. If weekly appointments have a start& end date
