  • CTH2005PS I Portable, Coil Heated Split Tank with Control House

    • Unitized design for simple, quick setup, ease of servicing and greater reliability.

    • Heavy duty channel steel frame forsuperior structural support.

    • High density glass fiber insulation forefficient heat retention.

    • Self store blocking eliminates need fortimber blocking and reduces setup time.

    • Terex Roadbuilding total customer supportsystem is unmatched in the industry.

    • 20,000 gal (75,700 L) AC storage capacity,5,000 gal (18,925 L) fuel storage capacity.

TankTank is mounted on a fully continuousheavy duty 15 in (381 mm) - 33.9# steelchannel frame that runs the entire tanklength. Tank shell is 1/4 in (6.4 mm) thickand is double welded with 6 in (152 mm)channel internal supports for superiorstructural strength. Tank heads are 5/16 in(8 mm) thick reinforced with 6 in (152 mm)channels.

Covered with 4 in (102 mm) of semi-rigid3.0# density fiberglass insulation capable ofprotection from 60°F (15.5°C) to 850°F(454°C) with a R-14.8 value andcompressive strength of 10% deformationunder 125 lb/in2 load. Outer aluminumjacket is .025 gauge stucco embossed andis durable and lightweight.

Thermal conductivity is 0.27 B.T.U. persquare foot at 75°F (23.9°C) averagetemperature. Moisture absorption is lessthan 2% by volume.

One 24 in (610 mm) x 24 in (610 mm)inspection manhole on top of tank withexternal and internal ladder provides easyaccess to inside of tank. 4 in (102 mm)internal overflow pipe discharges throughbottom of tank. Asphalt thermometer withdry well.

3 in (76 mm) - 150# flanged asphalt supplyconnection with internal submerged suctionpipe to bottom of tank. 3 in (76 mm) - 150#flanged asphalt return connection withinternal submerged return pipe to thebottom of tank with anti-siphon device. 3 in(76 mm) - 150# flanged asphalt fillconnection has internal line with anti-siphondevice. 2 in (51 mm) NPT drain connectionat bottom of tank with valve.

system. Special configurations of axleplacement are available. One pair of landingjacks installed in front frame with one heavyduty support pad. Ideal for disconnectingtrailer from tractor.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT3 in (76 mm) transport unloading pump,200 gal/min (757 liter) hot oil jacketedpositive displacement pump with integralrelief valve and 15 hp (11kW) TEFC electricmotor with V-belt drive, for primary tank.

Dual compartment tank. Includes internal, double wall, insulated bulkhead used toprovide asphalt and drum burner fuelstorage in a single unit.

Self-store blocking assemblies eliminate theneed for screw jacks and timber blocking.Blocking assemblies consist of crank-typelanding jacks and steel beam cribbing. Thesteel cribbing assembly provides amplestability for storage, parking and setup.Adjustments to the tank leveling are easilyaccomplished even after the plant has beenput into operation.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENTPiping, valves and jacketed lines tointerconnect 3 in (76 mm) unloading pumpto additional storage tanks.

3 in (76 mm) hot oil jacketed asphalt pipingbetween tank and plant pump, and plantpump to drum including pipe support andflex line hoses.

Piping, valves and jacketed lines tointerconnect 2 in (51 mm) or 3 in (76 mm)plant pump to additional storage tanks.

Interconnecting hot oil jacketed asphaltpiping between compartments or additionalasphalt tanks.

Mounting of hot oil heater on gooseneckand plumbed to hot oil coils and gooseneckfuel tank.

    Asphalt level indicators.

Mounting of 3 in (76 mm) transportunloading pump package on gooseneck andconnect jacketed pipe with flex line jumpersto 3 in (76 mm) fill inlet in tank head.

Mounting of plant pump package on rearframe and connect jacketed pipe with flex linejumpers to 3 in (76 mm) suction outlet and3 in(76 mm) by-pass return connection. Thisallows the tank to be backed into locations.

5,000 gal (18925 L) fuel tank includes 4 in(101 mm) pipe fill port, 2 in (50 mm) drainline with 2 in (50 mm) NPT valve. 2 in (50 mm) pipe supply and return lines pipedto fuel pump.
