What makes a major deposit & how do you find one?
• Ore deposits are formed from the culmination of a unique set of geological conditions in space and time• Intensity – high grades, alteration
• Scale – large area (geological setting is km scale)
• Long-lived – multiple mineralizing events, often overprinting one another
• Structural complexity; Favourable host rocks
• Recognizing potential – Understand the importance of the above features and learn how to recognize them• Management has worked in and/or researched world class deposits
on 4 continents
• CEO built a mid-tier producer from concept based upon long-lived, high-grade assets
• President has been involved in numerous discoveries
4TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C

Pamlico Drilling
Discovered multiple, new high-grade gold zones in Merritt Area
Near surface, oxide intercepts – Highlights:• DH P17-08: 9.1m of 28 g/t Au (incl. 1.5m of 85 g/t)• DH P17-10: 6.1m of 98 g/t Au (incl. 1.5m of 341 g/t)• DH P17-17: 4.6m of 44 g/t Au (incl. 0.8m of 244 g/t)
Discovered “halo” disseminated/stockwork bulk tonnage potential in Merritt Area & Pamlico Ridge
Near surface, oxide “stockwork” intercepts – Highlights:• DH P17-26: 28.2m @ 4.54 g/t Au (from 19.8m)• DH P17-33: 53.4m @ 2.36 g/t Au (from surface)• DH P17-26: 39.6m @ 1.48 g/t Au (from 85.4m)• Decline – Continuous saw cut channel sampling: 75.5m @ 2.92 g/t Au (from face)
Discovered previously unknown stockwork/disseminated gold mineralization at depth
Results indicate potential for lower-grade bulk tonnage deposit with high-grade ‘sweeteners’

Pamlico Drilling
11TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C
• Latite appears to be preferred host but rhyolite can also be mineralized
Preliminary Metallurgy• Cyanide shake assays conducted on RC drilling samples indicated amenability for heap leaching
• Recoveries for samples assaying 0.13-4.0g/t averaged 93.8%
• More advanced 96-hour bottle roll tests
• Four composite samples with Predicted Head Grades of 0.07, 0.46, 1.27 and 97.94 g/t Au
• Gold recoveries were very high, ranging from 73.6% to 97.1%
• Rapid leach time and low cyanide consumption
• Dry screening of ‘raw’ material yielded 79.28% of the gold in 12.82% of the original sample weight
• Potential to reduce capital and operating costs
12TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C
Underground Surveying
13
• State-of-the-art LIDAR surveying of ~8,000 metres of underground workings is providing sub-cm accuracy for mapping & sampling
• Collects 300,000 datapoints per second• Result is a spatially accurate 3D model of the
underground workings• Assays from underground channel sampling can be
used in a resource estimate• Better targeting for surface drilling
TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C
Good Hope Mine Underground Sampling
14
Main Portal and Dump for Good Hope Mine
13.89 g/t Au & 71.19 g/t Ag over 40m;12.48 g/t Au & 49.55 g/t Ag over 24m
Merritt Area
• Underground sampling re-discovered high-grade gold-silver mineralization in upper levels of Good Hope Mine
Pamlico Ridge
Gold Box Canyon
Pamlico Mine
Gold Bar Mine(VG in dumps)
Good Hope Mine
TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C
Induced Polarization (IP) Geophysics
15
IP Survey - strategy• Aside from coarse gold in
veins, very fine gold appears to be related to fine grained pyrite
• Despite deep levels of oxidation, locally reaching 300m, there may be sufficient remnant pyrite for IP to detect
• 14.8 line km in 9 lines covering >10 km2
• Covered 6 target areas:• Pamlico Ridge• Pediment• Gold Box Canyon• Central Mine• Sunset Mine• Skarn Zone
TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C
IP Results
16
• Multiple anomalies detected, potentially reflecting sulphide mineralization at depth• Good correlation with gold mineralization in Drill Area & Merritt Decline• Broad, strong anomaly could represent buried intrusive with sulphides, providing heat &
fluids for gold mineralizing system• Additional claims acquired to ensure we are ‘covered’ to the east and north• Multiple new targets for drilling
TSXV: NRG OTCQB:NRGOF FSX: X6C
