CORPORATE PROFILE Including Training Catalogue
COMPANY OVERVIEW
The Academy of People Development (APD) is a Primary Co-Operative that
has been established through the nurturing of People Development Africa.
APD specializes in capacitating individuals operating in the education,
training and development practice (ETDP) field to fully understand the
context of the national skills development strategy. This approach is an
expression of our company motto – “a candle loses nothing by lighting
another”.
Thelma Bowers has established the company with a single-minded focus on
quality training delivery and skills development for the South African (and
indeed pan-African) marketplace. We are a level 3 B-BBEE contributor
headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa.
We have a particularly strong focus on accredited training in support of the
national qualifications framework (NQF) as we built our reputation on the
training of assessors, moderators and skills development facilitators.
We have adapted to the market and now offer a vehicle to new entrants to
the ETD field with NQF Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6.
We have also extended our scope to Wholesale & Retail Seta now offering
the National Certificate of Warehousing 49280.
