Q Quiz Time
STK p. 6-7,9- 10,
14, 26, 31 to 42
Last week, I had the worst week of my entire life. First of all, on Monday morning I woke up late.
I did not have the chance to eat breakfast and I missed the bus. Then, when I got to school, I
learned that we had a big science exam, which I did not study for. Then on Tuesday, my best
friend called to say that she could not go to the cinema with me this weekend because she
had to babysit her little brother while her parents were away on vacation. On Wednesday, I
thought things would go better, but they did not. Our English teacher took the entire first and
second period to teach us grammar. Beurk! I was so bored that I fell asleep for about fifteen
minutes. Then, when she realized that I was sleeping, she shouted: “Fire”. I woke up screaming
and tried to run out. However, when I got up, I tripped over my shoe laces and fell in front of
the group. Everyone started laughing. My teacher told me that I had gotten what I deserved.
Thursday was not bad after all at least I thought it would not be. I got my science exam back
and saw that I passed it. My parents had to sign it and when they saw my grade they decided
to ground me for the whole weekend. So Friday night I was stuck at home studying for a test
that I should have studied the week before.
I hope this weekend will be much better.
