Garage parking: Even though it’s indoors, make sure the temperature is still acomfortable temperature for your DOC Band baby prior to heading out.
Outdoor parking: If your car has been parked outside on a warm day, remove your baby’s DOC Band for the ride home.
When you arrive home: Immediately towel-dry your baby’s head and place the DOC Band back on.
Remember: DOC Bands only work when they are on the infant’s head!
Cool Car Tips
Keep that car seat cool!
Place a small cooler ice pack in a thermal cooler or insulated lunch bag
When you arrive at your destination, put the car seat harness in a lowered position
Place the frozen ice pack on top of the harness and buckle
Then cover the entire car seat with a receiving blanket
When you return to the car, place the ice pack back in the cooler for your next stop
