Select a muffle cleaner based on the air consumption on the circuit to be used.①Calculate the amount of air consumed by the actuators which operate simultaneously. When the piping capacity between the selector valve and actuators is large, add the capacity.②Multiply the calculated air consumption by 1.4, and select a model having a max. throughput flow rate higher than the obtained value.The chart shows the values obtained by multiplying the air consumption of pneumatic cylinders by 1.4. Use the chart for selecting a model.

The muffle cleaner has two functions: it removes oil content from actuators, valves and compressed air and absorbs exhaust sound.When exhaust is concentrated as shown above, the working environment can be made cleaner.
