CONSTRUCTION
A Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a ministry –approved specialized
program that allows students to focus on learning within a specific economic
sector while in secondary school.
Students will take 4 construction and/or design courses in grades 11 &
12.Students will obtain certifications
used in the construction industry such as fall arrest.
Students will explore reach-ahead activities in the construction field
such as going to a work site and building a shed.
